Babafemi Ojodu is the special assistant to President Buhari on Political matters. Last week he declared his interest to run for governor of Ekiti statre. According to Sahara Reporters, Ojodu publicly accused the state governor, Ayo Fayose of multiple killings, particularly the killing of a monarch in the state. He also accused Governor Fayose of wasteful spending and stealing from the state. He alleged that Governor Fayose is using state funds to build personal houses in the state, and that Fayose has gotten a passport from the Nigerien government and will elope to Niger republic shortly before his hand over to the next governor of the state.
